Lovely menu but unfortunately the staff incorrectly bought the wrong hot drink on 2 occasions and then put them on the bill! No sorry or thank you ! However we will be back despite the lack of service

Really nice relaxing restaurant, very quite with great staff and good food, nice comfortable seating and a bit of class, cool in hot weather, a world away from the self service cafe next door.

Superb food and service from start to finish, highly recommended for something above and beyond.

We have dined at the talbot on many occasions and have always enjoyed it and this occasion was no exception. However the afternoon was marred by the fact that two of our party were told on departure that they may be subject to a fine as their stay had exceeded 3 hours. No one told them about this on arrival when they registered their number plate. Although the Talbot explained they are not responsible for the car park this could seriously deter a further visit if our friends are fined for effectively enjoying their time at the restaurant!
