We went for one of their Special Event dinners… a Bourbon night. Each course of the dinner was paired with a bourbon cocktail. It was a really lovely evening. The food was very good- different from their usual menu and thoughtfully prepared- Not unlike dinner there usually- but it was fun to try new dishes- unexpected. And the cocktails were all interesting. I liked trying g new things I wouldn’t have necessarily chosen. And one of the hosts of the evening explained the history of each bourbon and the cocktail they had created- each unique. And also adding to the ambiance of the evening, there was a talented and knowledgeable keyboard player who we so enjoyed listening to and talking favorite Jazz Musicians with. I am so glad we were there. Anytime we go to Vernon’s, it’s a lovely experience. It is a special place.

What a surprise to find this high quality sushi restaurant in a very sketchy location. We had philadeliphia Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Tuna and Yellow Tail Nigiri and the best cucumber salad that I have eaten at any sushi restaurant in a very long time. Jasmine tea was perfect as well. The chef brought us fresh wasabi as an added treat. Excellent in every way, total bill was under 67.00 for two people without tip.

Mula's is a relaxed tapas restaurant. The food is fresh, well presented and tasty. Karla, our server, was friendly, helpful and attentive. We'll be back.

Wonderful Valentine's Day experience. Great food, drinks,and ambiance. We highly recommend.
