Best Vegan Restaurants in Middletown

Good news: The food was delicious. I had the Chicken Scarpiella and it was flavorful. My wife ordered the Branzino and she loved it, The portions were large and both dishes were outstanding, Bad news: The service was adequate at best. Our waiter seemed like he was put out by our simple requests - ice when none was provided and water when we ran out. Only once during the 90 minutes or so we were there did anyone offer to refill our waters. We were forced to get various peoples attention for water as our server only checked in with us once while we were eating and once to ask if we wanted dessert. Aside from the hostess who sat us and the food runner who was genuinely friendly and seemed to care about our satisfaction, I was underwhelmed with the service. I would like to return but will need to think twice based on the service.

After many lunches @ Terrain, this was a first time for dinner experience and it didn’t disappoint. Prompt professional service in a quiet area of the bar. Button mushroom soup was excellent as were the artisanal cheeseboard and the plain and truffle fries. We tried both kinds and both were equally delicious. Lovely portions and all foods were beautifully garnished and presented. Will definitely be a regular here.
