Great staff, lovely food and good service with a smile Would go again

Another wonderful evening at The Bank celebrating our friend’s birthday. 5 new visitors to The Bank agreed that the food was fantastic. We had two vegetarians; one no red meat person in the group, so started with the Kale dish. I had promised them that it is delicious and they were not disappointed! Then we followed with some daals; a prawn dish and a chicken dish; Peshawari Naan and some rice. All fantastic. Thank you to Hita and Rahul, Joe and the whole team at The Bank for their generous service and wonderful restaurant.

We booked a table for a party of six at Izgara Northwood and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lively and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the evening. We ordered the large platter, which came with a tasty selection of hot and cold mezes, followed by a generous mixed grill that didn’t disappoint. We also tried the lamb sarma beyti that was incredible! Full of flavour and the kofte was juicy! There was a small mix-up where one of the hot mezes wasn’t quite hot, possibly sitting out a bit too long, but our server was fantastic and replaced the platter with a fresh one straight away — really great service. If we had to nitpick, the music was a touch loud at times, but it didn’t take away from the experience. All in all, great food, great service, and a brilliant evening. Would happily return!

This is a restaurant based within the grounds of Bushey Golf club and free parking after 6.30pm. I found out they also do deliveries via deliveroo and Uber eats. It's a fushion between Thai and Sri Lankan, so not your conventional Thai. They also have some English dishes currently available, in case you want to go with some friends who have less adventurous palates. So I had the satay chicken skewers to start, which were lovely, and the satay sauce, which I'm fussy about, was delicious. My friend enjoyed the thai fish cakes. For main, I had the prawn pad Thai. Not your conventional Pad Thai as I could taste a bit of lemongrass and tomato but everything was crisp and fresh and after asking them for some satay sauce to add to it, I was very happy 😊 My friend had the thai red curry which she asked for not too hot so I could try it. I usually go for green so can't compare, but my friend said it was nice. I think they probably need to reduce the menu as so much on there. They have a lovely little outside area with tables, which I'm sure will be great in summer and a back bar room for hire. My friend commented that it had a bit of a cafeteria feel and I think if they added more lighting, hid the clear display shelves by the kitchen and put plants or candles on the table, it would really help the ambiance. Worth a try as nice to support local businesses, and I think as it's new, they still have time for some improvements 🙌
