Best Vegan Restaurants in Glencoe

Looked on Open Table reservation options to late, tried again few minutes later got immediate reservation for earlier time, arrived sat down immediately, good service, good food I did fish & chips, guest did whitefish, waiter helped with wine choice and gave samples, we shared the house special strawberry cheesecake. Payment easy and parking right out front. Overall excellent restaurant.

We’ve been dining here for a long time and love seeing the same friendly and attentive staff year after year. It’s wonderful to have an entirely vegetarian menu to choose from. Shiitake walnut loaf is a favorite. Lovely desserts as well.

The book signing was organized and very thought out to move people and allow time for our author. Alone but a warm and welcoming setting and place! Glad I came and the atmosphere provided many nice meetings and end hugs on leaving! A love sign’ Elephant staff always gracious and responsive. Food always top notch !

We had a rough start. All waiters were ghosting us. After 10minutes the hostess that had taken us to our table brought some tap water and took our drink order. That also took time. We were in no rush but started taking time and were about to leave when our waiter finally showed up, apologizing but it sounded empty and took our order. The food was worth the wait. We had a great dinner, compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.
