Best Vegan Restaurants in Gambrills

What a fun place to dine. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Ralph the General Manager goes out of his way to make your dining experience amazing. Our server waited our table without writing a single thing down and everyone got exactly what they ordered. I don’t know how she did it but this is quite the feat! The food is all delicious. We didn’t love it. While we love the option to have a vegan tasting fine dining experience and are happy to celebrate its availability, compared to restaurants we have tried around the globe this came in at a B minus. Maybe the menu just wasn’t our favorite this month. Out of 6 courses only one stood out. The rest missed the mark in balance and flavors. The staff, while attentive, felt more intrusive due to the close arrangement of the tables. This has a chance to be amazing with some tweaks! So we would come back to give it another shot next time in town. The non alcoholic wine pairings were superb!!

The food was excellent and the service was attentive and kind. Everything was wonderful!

We went on a Monday for an early dinner at 5:30 pm. Our favorite waiter James D was not working so we were seated in Cole’s section and he was wonderful. So pleasant and professional and he took excellent care of us. Thank you Cole. We look forward to a return visit for a meal in your section.

We had a wonderful experience at Blackwall Barn & Lodge. My wife had the fresh catch of the day (Sea Bass), my 15 year old son had the Lodge Burger and I had the Crab Cakes. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the portions were large and we really enjoyed our meal. My son said it was the best burger he has ever had, which is quite the compliment! We finished it off with an Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding. The ambiance was very nice and the noise level was minimal. The service was excellent as well. We highly recommend and look forward to our return.
