We had our 21st anniversary dinner here. Overall, we had a very nice dinner. My wife had a bone-in ribeye steak, which was cooked to her liking at medium rare. She said it was very good. I had a sirloin steak which was supposed to be medium rare, but was actually medium to well done. Consequently, it was a bit chewy. What really bugs me is that Black Angus gets detailed, with pictures, about steak doneness, to make sure, you order your steak cooked properly. So given this, I expect my steak to be cooked properly. Other than this, everything else was fine. Their dark bread is yummy, salad greens are fresh and cold, as is the plate and fork. Our waiter comped us the large chocolate chip and ice-cream cookie.

Service was fantastic, however the “market bar” was poorly stocked. One or two of the cuts at the table were amazing, however the rest were just okay. Overall, it felt overpriced for the experience. We went on a Monday night, so maybe they just stock things “lighter”, but overall, for a $200 for two people, I expected more.

Always outstanding service by waiter Stephen! He is very polite and accommodating. He serves every course efficiently. The shrimp entrees and the Cheddar Bay Biscuits are always tasty.
