Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden.     Without doubt, this was the finest meal my wife and I have ever had—amazing food, exceptional staff, and a truly special experience. What stood out was the genuine enthusiasm, expertise, and warmth of everyone we met. It wasn’t performative friendliness or courtesy one can encounter, but something really sincere—an authentic passion for what they do. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary on a quiet weekday lunchtime. We're not big spenders, yet the team went above and beyond to make the occasion feel significant. Every dish featured an ingredient from the garden just outside, and each was subtle, beautiful, and deeply considered. There were multiple moments that would have been standouts in any other meal—here, they just kept coming. We were repeatedly delighted. I’ve run out of superlatives. Worth every penny. Do visit.

    We went to The Leaf for High Tea after touring Windsor Castle. It was a wonderful experience for our first time. The setting was beautiful, the teas and food were very good. I would highly recommend.
