Il Colosseo is an Italian restaurant that is a local favorite. The dining room here is small and intimate, which adds to the homey atmosphere the eatery provides. At the back of the dining room, Il Colosseo has an open kitchen where guests can watch as the talented kitchen staff prepares the food.     This beautifully decorated tea room is the gem of Brooklyn! We have been there several times and love the atmosphere, especially outside, where the tables are well spaced and it’s always quiet. This area now has a lucite roof cover so is useful in all seasons. The choice of teas is vast and they refilled my pot with fresh tea when I asked for hot water. The sandwiches were great and we ordered extras of a favorite! I enjoyed my scone. This place is one of the few tea places I have been where the scones are made more like British than American scones. They were presented with clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd. Delicious! The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and were really lovely to allow us to hang out there for 3 hours! I highly recommend Brooklyn High Low for your next tea time!

    Had a romantic dinner with my husband for Father’s Day. Food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were yummy, had an Italian margarita. Staff and service was remarkable. A must go again.

    I loved it! My sister and I went before a NY Liberty game, and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious! We got the fried calamari, caesar salad, and chef’s special pizza.
