Best Restaurants for Spicy Food in Van Nuys

We had a reservation for 6 on Mother's Day. Selene greeted us at the door. I advised that the rest of my group is looking for parking. She offered to seat us at the bar while we waited for the rest of the group. As soon as the group arrived, we checked back in with Selene and we were seated right away in a corner booth by the window. There are 3 dishes provided for appetizers, great to share for 6 people: fruit, jalapeño cornbread, and a trout dish. Jackie is the best server. Every member of the team created a wonderful experience for my mom and grandmother. We enjoyed the bloody Maria's, chilaquillas, al pastor omelet, churro french toast, and the burrito, all from the brunch menu. I even received a call from the staff 2 days prior to confirm the reservation and they advised on the menu. Parking is very limited.

Really good meat. Focus on beef. We had someone who didn’t eat beef and had to find other options. Service was excellent. Felt there was lots of attention to our cooking needs. Also, found an amazing bottle of wine from their wine list. We will be coming back.

Wonderful, always a great dinner!!!! Waiters are attentive and know you, always a pleasant greeting. Food comes out quickly and is always delicious!!!! Family dinners, birthdays, anniversary, Joselitos is always Our favorite Mexican dining option !!!!

Great spot. Convenient walk to PANTAGES after. The tacos are big! I rested 3. Could have gotten by with 2. The churros are awesome. Husband had the quesadillas
