Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Towson

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was amazing

Our group of 4 adults had a lovely experience at Bluestone on 6/12/25. The decor of the restaurant is lovely. The team member at the host stand was friendly/welcoming. Our server was Brad. He was attentive, efficient and customer focused. We did not receive rolls or crackers so I assume Bluestone does not offer them. If Bluestone does provide rolls, that was an oversight by our server as none were offered. Three of our group had the Bluestone salad. Of the three, two had grilled salmon as the added protein for the salad. They loved their salad and were very satisfied with the portion of salmon. The third person who had the Bluestone salad had grilled chicken as the added protein. That was the only negative. For an $8 additional charge for the grilled chicken, there were three TINY strips of chicken on the salad. Very disappointing. Our fourth group member had the Chicken and Avocado salad and she loved it. The pricing is a bit high (especially in light of the tiny amount of grilled chicken for an $8 charge) but our overall experience was very good.

The Towson Tavern offers a great venue for a business lunch. Excellent menu with a good selection of healthy options, and at a very reasonable price. The service is always outstanding.
