Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we adopt a 'order at the bar' service for all restaurant seatings unless pre booked party's of 10 or more. Please ask at the bar for more details on arrivalLocated on the ground floor directly off main reception Faradays offers a lunch menu from midday, and ala carte dinner menu alongside a selection of daily specials served each evening from 5.30pm to 9.15pm, which enables our of brigade of Chefs the opportunity to showcase their talents. The bar opens at midday and serves until 11pm after which time guests will be required to show proof of residency to obtain service. Bar closing time is at the discretion of the hotel management team each night. The patio overlooking the Waterfront provides panoramic views of the canal basin and should the weather turn inclement then you can still enjoy the outdoors in one of our new dining pods.

    We had Caprese side as a starter - it was more tomatoes with a small amount of mozzarella and a single small basil leaf. It came with no balsamic vinegar and there wasn’t anyone around to ask for some. Overall the server was friendly, polite and engaging but the service was slow considering the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Which based on our previous experience was a little disappointing.

    Its been many years since I last visited the Bay Tree. However my return visit was a pleasure. We went for my Son's birthday celebrations and had a really lovely time. The selection of food is varied and the quality and presentation was excellent. The service was very good too. The staff were checking everything was ok and if we needed anything more, but not being overly attentive, which I don't particularly like. What was a pleasant and unusual surprise was that the Chef came out and asked all the diners if the food was ok. To me that says a lot! I would definitely recommend a visit here - you won't be disappointed.
