A very lovely pub with 2 little snugs and a larger room. Friendly, attentive service and a good wine recommendation! I imagined it's lovely with the open fire in winter. The food was lovely, especially the roast venison and walnut chilli. A lovely selection of veg with the roasts, nicely cooked. My parents really enjoyed it, and they're usually the first to comment if it's not up to scratch, so well done!! Thank you!

Fabulous afternoon tea. Can highly recommend this. Beautiful venue, great service from a friendly and professional team. The food was outstanding, best scones ever. The complementary glass of English sparkling wine and birthday cake with sparkler for our birthday girl, was a lovely bonus surprise xxx

The food and service were both excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menu.

A wonderful Sunday lunch as ever with great service

Valentines night for my wife and I, Wife is also Gluten Intolerant and they had NGGI for all ingredients not gluten, my wife had the Melt NGGI burger and I had the hot dog both came with skinny fries. My wife had the rhubarb and ginger gin and the GF chocolate torte. The food was excellent and service was brilliant, mein host Alan who looked after us superbly. We had an incredibly lovely evening and meal, thanks Alan.
