El The Oar es un restaurante informal situado frente al agua, en el muelle del río Patchogue, y sirve marisco y filetes deliciosos y frescos. Service, ambiance and experience were great! We ordered the Steak Tartaré appetizer which was delicious and presentation was cool. Then we ordered rib eye for 2 which came with poutine. Our only complaint was the poutine did not rise to the quality and taste level of the rib eye. Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The poutine was glorified shoestring potatoes with cheese and gravy. I would suggest a more upscale type of side - this was disappointing for the $185 price of the entree.

We had an incredible birthday celebration at Locale! My better half and I were blown away by the warm atmosphere, outstanding food, and top-notch service. A special thank you to Zack, who was incredibly attentive throughout the evening—he made us feel truly celebrated and taken care of. Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. Locale is an absolute gem in Patchogue, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!
