Very nice Sunday lunch. Arrived at 12:30 and it was really quiet but soon got busy. Opted for a traditional lunch of roast beef and it was served pink as mentioned in the menu. Roast potatoes crispy and tasty. Added cauliflower cheese (done with Feta) as a side dish and it was excellent. Desserts were good. A very enjoyable un-rushed dining experience.

Second visit to this venue and was again impressed by all aspects of the service, food, staff and ambience. The venue is quite small so when busy can be a moderately noisy from chatter but not an intrusion. Some might say a small menu but there are plenty of choices and the quality of the food and drink is excellent which will afford you a pleasant surprise as to the value when you receive the bill. Staff are very efficient and friendly and clearly the chef takes pride in the production of his fayre as well as it's presentation. There is outside seating with the location on a fairly quiet but popular shopping parade in a quaint village setting.

Such a lovely Mother's Day meal. Can't believe how much meat there was on the sharing platter. Everyone getting a huge steak, gammon and chicken. Brilliantly cooked especially the steak. We do have a couple of small criticisms though, plates and cutlery should have been out before the food arrived and the food didn't stay warm as the plates weren't warm ( probably because we where near the ceiling AC unit). But overall we can't complain and will definitely be back again.
