Nice return to Updown on what might have been a quiet night. Good number of diners in but staff were struggling to keep up. The team did excellently and the food was lovely. The anchovie toast was desperately salty but I guess that's what I signed up for.

As always, very warmly greeted. Staff superb and food excellent. Pizza & drinks, a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, thank you.

The menu was exceptionally interesting and the food cooked and presented perfectly. The wine list is extraordinarily wide ranging. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed by our party of four.

A lovely restaurant with a varied menu with some great seafood and fish selections. We especially enjoyed the scallops, mussels, and Mediterranean prawns..and wow! they make their own ice cream. I can recommend sugarnut and white chocolate and ginger. Also, chocolate orange ginger and rosemary ice cream. A really lovely quality relaxed meal. Our waitress was very friendly and bubbly, which made a difference, giving us a lovely evening.
