From the moment we walked in for a drink before dinner we were looked after really well. Everyone was polite and helpful making sure we enjoyed our food and evening.

Good food, service etc., they provide those little extras that set them apart, a jug of iced water with lemon, linen table napkins and well laid out tables, in short very civilised.

A welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. We started with the small bites, which were larger than expected and were delicious. Mains, catch of the day (hake), and the oxtail cottage pie were excellent. No room for pudding. Will return.

Very enjoyable all round, food great and a wonderful pub with great ambience

Had the evening set menu. All chosen different mains. Expected smaller portions but they were on large side of normal. Food all fresh, fish steak and chicken cooked very well. Desserts also generous size and delicious. Joel was a great server attentive but not intrusive. Wish we lived locally.
