Best Seasonal Restaurants in Ilford

Visited for a birthday. I've been to quite a few 'big name' italians in central and have always been disappointed. But I couldn't be more impressed with Darlings! The food was incredible - the bread was amazing and the olives were the best I've found in London, the pastas we had were lovely too. The service was fantastic, drinks were amazing, and we sat outside to enjoy the beaut sunny weather. Couldn't recommend this place more - I will be a regular!

Had a lovely time catching up with a friend at All My Friends over lunch on Sunday. We ordered food from Uncle Hons BBQ and it was delicious. Highly recommend the szechuan short rib and smacked cucumber salad. Only down side was how busy it was. Probably to be expected as it was a bank holiday weekend, but the bar was often 3 or 4 people deep, with lots of people ordering time consuming cocktails, making it a long and laborious task to get a drink. We left to go somewhere quieter once the music and dancing picked up.

We came here for breakfast after getting married and it was the best cooked breakfast we’ve ever had!

Went to afternoon tea with my sister and it was delightful. Staff were very friendly and food was lovely. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Myself and my wife visiting the restaurant on Saturday, the service and staff were very good. My wife can't have Garlic and Onion, the few dishes she was looking at to have, all contained either Garlic or Onion. Both ingredients could not be removed as nearly everything we pre marinated. Was very surprised that a chef in any good restaurant these days, can not think outside the box and cater for this? Ended up with cod with lemon and butter. The cod was cooked really well but laking in taste.
