There are always unique taste experiences offered at 1776. We both had the sole entree special (Sole over minted pea risotto with beurre blanc) - EXCELLENT! We started with the special "nosh" (grilled Michigan peaches with burrata, basil oil, balsamic glaze) - a delicious flavor combo. We shared the seasonal salad (baby arugula, beets, grapefruit, fennel, grapefruit vinaigrette) which was very refreshing. We ended with the pound cake with caramelized lemon curd - it was really quite a light finish to the meal. The recommended wine was Squealing Pig Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand), which was a light, fruit-forward taste that went well with the other courses. Our server, Josh, seemed to really enjoy his work, and the greetings by others on the staff made us feel like we were part of the family.

I enjoy going to Coopershawk in general, and have been visiting different locations. Parking here is busier, the tasting room is way smaller yet the seating areas are plentiful. We went for lunch and our server was quite attentive. I would’ve enjoyed the experience more if the server and the people who are employed within smiled more. They all greeted us, yet smiles were absent on most people there.

Beautiful place, little pricey, great service. We had a party of 4 and a 18% gratuity was automatically applied to our bill. I will not recommend other friends to meet us there with that gratuity automatically applied.

The restaurant is beautiful (even the bathrooms!) Our waitress was adorable, professional, and attentive. The food was outstanding! Highly recommended!
