Excellent, if somewhat pricey, food in this traditional village pub in a beautiful village. Well worth a visit.

Beautifully decorated, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Good choice of wines at varying prices. Staff very friendly and attentive. Delicious food but seriously overpriced! £16 for one ravioli?? Albeit with an egg inside, chanterelle etc We were told these were plates to share, like tapas, but how do you share one piece of ravioli? Cheese Board was good but skimpy on the bread. This is a small Sussex Village, not London. Prices should he affordable for locals.

Best service I have experienced in at least ten years. Wonderfully attentive without overdoing it, and all done with a very sincere smile
