In the middle of nowhere in the Vermont hamlet of Ferrisburgh you will find this hidden gem The second you enter this restaurant glance to the right and observe the immaculate and regimented kitchen. I liken it to a mini Alinea or Madison Park. Just browse the menu on their website to give you some idea of this creative master chef. We tried just about everything and nothing disappointed. The wine list is not large but loaded with great choices showing the extensive work given to its creation Leslie - our server - was exceptional and helped guide us to the right choices The maple dessert was heavenly as was the dining room with a conspicuous replica of the famed Van Gogh proudly staring or of you prefer “starring” down on the guests It is well worth the 30 minute drive south from Burlington and we are sure to return

This was our second dinner at Ardelia’s. This evening we had the Caesar salad, the lamb shank with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and the apple crisp for dessert. Husband had Pinot noir and I had a mocktail that the bartender made for me. Both were excellent. We throughly enjoyed our dinner. Our server, Abdullah, was very attentive.

It is the most beautiful setting to watch the sun set and enjoy dinner and good company!
