Best Romantic Restaurants in Siesta Key

We had a wonderful experience at Sage. From arrival, Kyla was so kind calling to confirm our res, to our server Jonathan, who made us feel very special. We then met Shane who served our food and seemed to have great knowledge of the menu, and then Brandon who was so thoughtful and made good beverage recommendations and told us the history of the building. This restaurant deserves a a Michelin star. Thanks for having us!!!

My favorite restaurant in Sarasota! The food and wine are excellent!

Mediterraneo has become our favorite Italian restaurant in downtown Sarasota. We frequently walk to lunch there and greatly enjoy their excellent cuisine, atmosphere and attentive service. Standouts are the carefully prepared pastas, appetizers and salads. Ana, the manager, is always exceptionally thoughtful and helpful! We always look forward to returning!

Another great dining experience at Ophelia’s on the Bay! Our server, Danielle, was terrific, personable, helpful and thoroughly professional. She added meaningfully to a wonderful dining experience. Of course, the food is always the main event here, and this occasion was no different. We each had the poached pear and gorgonzola salad to start and then one of us had the scallop entree and the other the lobster risotto. Both were prepared to perfection and absolutely delicious. Ophelia’s never fails to please and remains one of our very favorite dining destinations.

We love all the monthly Epicurean dinners, but especially the French ones like this month. As usual, everything was delicious, from the Amuse-bouche through the decadent dessert. The pace was leisurely based on the kitchen, but the table service from Nick was top-notch as always. We usually try the suggested wine pairings, and the Macon-Village this month did not disappoint. We were seated around a corner so the sound from the piano bar was muted enough to be a pleasant backdrop for conversation. Overall another great dining experience at Michael's.
