Excellent meal. Service a bit slow but friendly. Kitchen brought out a beet salad - we didn’t order it, but it was quite good. The lamb, rabbit pie, and risotto each were top notch.

A perfect summer’s day to celebrate a special achievement of an Oxford colleague was the beginning of an exceptional meal. As punters passed by on the waterway beside the boathouse, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and unhurried conversations. My starter of gazpacho was followed by a moist and meaty chicken breast surrounded by Milanese rice in a delectable lemon sauce. Although the serving was too generous for me to finish, I elected to conclude my meal with a light panna cotta served with raspberry coulis napping at its tender white mound. A Pinot Blanc was the refreshing wine we selected for our meal.
