Best Romantic Restaurants in Turtle Creek / Oak Lawn

Perfect way to celebrate our engagement, staff was extremely helpful and made us feel really welcomed. Many choices of food and the food came out pretty fast. The view was amazing I can’t really complain about anything.

Jarrot our server was superb !! He was knowledgeable, patient, fun to chat with when he came to check on us. His timing was always great coming over to the table. My daughter and I had a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back. Also, the food was absolutely delicious!!!

We had a group of 13 friends in town for a funeral, and needed a place to gather. Al Biernat’s was the perfect spot…and switched our reservation from 10 to 13 on short notice with just a phone call to wonderful Marisol. Our waiter was delightful, had lots of recommendations, and made the evening something to remember. The Sea Bass was the best I’ve ever had in my life! Thank you!

This was our second time at Mr. Charles. I initially hesitated because of price, but for special occasions, it is hard to beat. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Prompt but did not feel rushed. All the servers were very attentive and knew how to please. The fish (halibut) was very well prepared with interesting vegetables--one of the best I have had. The filet with cabernet/truffle reduction paired with king crab (nightly special) was also delicious. The steak was done perfectly to order. Be sure to try to corn beignets. Desserts were also very good. We will definitely return for our next special occasion.

We absolutely had the best experience at The Mexican!! The service and staff were fabulous! They made us feel so special, greeted us by our names, went over each part of the menu, so helpful! The food and drinks were just as good! Will definitely come back and tell all our friends how great this place is.
