- BbarryVIPNew York City •46 reviews5.0Dined todayWe regularly frequent Mastro's for family celebrations, each time with surprisingly good results, even when compared to top New York steakhouses. Alas, tonight was not that night. Our server was wonderful, and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals. However, my New York prime (at $72) was inedible. The gristle that remained when I was finished took up a good amount of the real estate on my plate. More infoMastro's Ocean Club - Fort LauderdalePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Lauderdale Beach•4.7
- CCliffVIPFort Lauderdale •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent! Delicious and innovative dishes inspired by various locals and cultural styles, beautifully presented. Very nice walk through the beautiful Four Seasons Lobby and outdoor area, elegant and trendy dining room, especially fun and entertaining at the Chef’s Counter observing the preparation of the talented chefs. Nice touch of the personally printed menu. Two things I must mention, a, the service dish that resembles a splatter liquid, though it is beautiful, not very functional as it continuously swiveling as you try to manage the contents, and b, after one of the courses, the server clear the dishes while I’m still chewing with a piece of bread still in my hand! Very annoying! By the way, that truffle Brioche with the truffle butter was very delicious! I hope that the restaurant saw this review and makes some improvements… Overall, it was a wonderful night, good value, I would recommend it to anyone.More infoMAASSPrice: Expensive• American• Central Beach•4.5
- MMarcusWest Palm Beach •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat little spot. My guest missed the sunset which was west of the view but nonetheless amazing casting light on the ocean. The temp was great so i sat on the balcony overlooking the Atlantic. The water didn’t have a ripple i don’t think ive ever seen it like that not even waves crashing ashore it was amazing looked like a lake. The staff sat me patiently waiting for my guest. Whom i have been actively trying to woo lol and she seemed to enjoy herself as well. Wasnt as fancy as i was imagining but definitely worth the experience. Food was amazing especially the calamari which i never eat tried my dates absolutely delicious. Im a foodie overall. Its all about the food. Then the ambience. And service. There was a gentleman looked like a manger could be more inviting but i definitely have a look men need to overcome can ruffle the feathers of egos around me for whatever reason it was my first experience entering i ignored it. Wouldn’t let that ruin my experience kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Waitress was great attentive brought fresh bread when my guest arrives late. Validated my valet. I ordered chicken parm and the entire meal was simply delicious. Other then the little bit of ego spewing off the guy at the entrance only complaint is like most fancy restaurants parking you will need to either walk from the parking lot across the street or valet. I always valet my guest and walk because i have tools and personal stuff in my vehicle and valet just isnt my thing. But the restaurant does pick up the tab if you choose to do so. Nice lightening, great food, drinks were strong service was fast. Menu was fun on the ipad very bright and captivating. With spectacular views. Ordered the escargots. Were melting in your mouth- delicious!!! Bread was served & was so crunchy & good to dip. For the mains, we both ordered beef bourguignon. Rich & so scrumptious!!! Hubby had pistachio rum cake!!! He loved it!!! I took a bite!!! Wow! Just wow! Will definitely be back soon!More infoFRENCHY'S TablePrice: Moderate• French• Landings•4.8
