Wonderful food and atmosphere. Our server was friendly and helpful. The green bean special appetizer and all 3 pastas were excellent. Worth the walk over from downtown.

Amazing evening at the best restaurant south of the mountain

We were served by Sarah she is a wonderful she took good care of us. The food was amazing the only little thing that slightly disappointed was the bread that usually is always right out of the oven was served cold and when we asked for hot bread because we just love it it’s so delicious our basket was replaced with 6 fresh buns but only the top 3 were hot the bottom 3 were from the cold batch and I was not going to say anything a second time. That bread is amazing when it is hot and fresh. Everything else was delicious. Thank you

First rate. I specifically chose them as apparently the only steakhouse on the Island grilling on real coal fires. Three of us shared a medium rare 34 Oz Porterhouse and two 2 lb. Maritime lobsters. Pommes Aligo and creamed baby spinach were delightful sides. Cold and grilled shrimp and delicately fried calamari served as appetizers. As my intention was to support Canada and Montreal we chose both white and red Quebec wines (ground $100 each) with the assistance of the knowledgeable sommelier. Desserts were Crème brûlée and crêpes Suzette, both perfect. After dinner drinks and smokes in the sophisticated cigar bar completed the experience. Service was perfect. Unobtrusive and respectful of our privacy, but ever-present to refresh our glasses and attend to our every need. It was a flawless steakhouse experience from start to finish. Around $1200 CDN, but worth every Loonie for a memory that will last a lifetime.
