My wife and I celebrated my birthday today with our very special friends. We have been to the Ivy in the past, but it was their first time. It was amazing. The service, ambience and food was impecable. Giancarlo was our main server and he provided outstanding service. Our friends son, age 10 had also recently celebrated his birthday and we were brought a special dessert with a candle. This just made the end of the meal and the day much more special. Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone at the Ivy, but especially Giancarlo. We are looking forward to our next visit which is in December to celebrate my wife's birthday. Highly recommend. Overall the food was good, limited choice for starter and dessert but a good selection for main. The service was a tad slow but that was fine with us, and finally the local wine from the Woodchester Valley vineyard was excellent!
