Best Romantic Restaurants in East Liberty

Delicious food, my only complaint is they basically only have two options to try their menu, and you can’t choose differently if you go as a couple (?). Another table got a variety of desserts that were not in the menu, and were not offered to us either (they looked much better than the ones included in the omakasu). Another thing is, the place needs better ventilation: it was smoky and it even bothered my eyes when we got there, then you get used to it.

Our table really enjoyed the new prep for salmon and the branzino, both new on the menu.

Food was fantastic, service was great, will definitely come back. This was my wife and I’s destination for a much needed date night, and we were both very happy with the atmosphere and the food was incredible, definitely recommend the lamb!

First time for me at this restaurant. Nicely decorated. Only 2 4-person tables, the rest at bar or sushi counter level. Much much more than a sushi bar with some creative riffs on traditional dishes. The Gyoza were exceptional all around, great display, taste and tasty dipping sauce. The Hamachi "collar" special was without compare.

Love SOBA. It is quiet, the menu changes seasonally and the service is great. We had an amazing sweet potato pie thing - unfortunately it is rotating off the menu . Hope it will be back!
