Best Romantic Restaurants in Bassenthwaite

The Ivy House restaurant is our favourite. The food is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful and the dining room lovely. We visit often and are always made welcome. The curry special is always my first choice and as always was delicious last night. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely delicious meal served by polite and friendly staff. We were celebrating my birthday whilst on holiday. The menu choice was varied and I chose the special Sea bass which was beautifully cooked and presented. Hubby had the beef teriyaki tacos which were delicious. Also eaten were onion bhaji and mozzarella sticks. Pudding was lemon posset. The staff sung happy birthday and gave me a lovely little ice cream pudding. Could not fault any part of this meal and I would highly recommend eating here and will absolutely return.

Loved it. Very quiet for a Saturday but the food was perfect. Food choice limited but you can see the menu before booking. My wife had the trout and I had the lamb both were just what we wanted and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend very peaceful compared to most other restaurants in Keswick.
