Spectacular sunsets that can be seen from every table is just one of the many reasons that Christy Hill was voted "Most Romantic Restaurant" and "North Lake Tahoe's Iconic Restaurants with World-Class Views" by the San Francisco Chronicle.Executive Chef, Luis Vallin, focuses on sustainability and innovation, supporting local merchants and farmers. We had a wonderful meal at Christy Hill. Celebrated a birthday, and they made the experience special and memorable. The food is incredible, the views of the lake are stunning, and the service is friendly and attentive.

Smoke Door is the most expensive meal I’ve enjoyed in Tahoe but well worth the splurge! I highly recommend the 6 course tasting menu and start with one of their signature cocktails. Each course is so carefully prepared with the very best ingredients and includes a unique and delicious twist from the Chef. The staff is friendly and not pretentious. Thank you for an exceptional meal. We will be back!!

We have been going to Le Bistro on our anniversary for the 12 years we've lived in Tahoe. The food is always fresh, cooked to perfection with lovely touches and presentation. Service was excellent and the spacing between courses just right. The four course prix fixe menu is a good deal, although I am always a little too full afterwards. That didn't stop me from finishing the dessert plate, a sampling of four small delights, a chocolate truffle, creme brulee, lemon cookie and a chocolate raspberry cake. My wife's main course was the filet mignon and I had the scallops. They were both excellent.
