I’m running out of things to say. Chef Nick keeps upping his game, every single thing was amazingly delicious. We love this place. We love Pia and Tommy and it’s our splurge meal every time they come out with the new menu. We’re trying not to miss any this year. I think we’ve only missed one. But trust me this one you do not want to miss. 

Wonderful birthday dinner. Beef Wellington, French onion soup, soufflé for dessert. Made us recall France. Charming.

We have been going to Matisse 167 for over 20 years, since it was Cafe Matisse Chef Greg is wonderfully keeping the incredible quality that Chef Peter had established.

Went here for the first time on Mother's Day. I have always wanted to try it here. I am so happy I did. My family and myself enjoyed the food. I especially loved the edamame dumplings, they were delicious. I had the salmon and that was also very good and just the right amount of food. great atmosphere and also service.

DELICIOUS and fresh if you have the money to splurge. Seasonal menus, super accommodating BYOB policy. I wish there had been more communication beforehand about expectations (when to arrive, timing, etc.) and maybe more info once you arrive. I have been to other Omakase places places that write the courses down on a board each night to help you track which are your favorite. They introduced each one but I am a visual person so reading it in the restaurant would help. The food is definitely the focus and it shows, but a little more info would go a long way (e.g. mini non alcoholic drinks menu)
