Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Countryside

Received the worst table in the house. Every single person that came into the restaurant banged into our table. Every time the door was open we got a blast of cold air. That first table should not even be an option.

Petit Vie is a gem. You feel special just by walking through the door. We had the Tourtons du Champsaur and the Oeufs Mimosa as apps. Just delicious. Then we had the Monkfish and Beef Bourguignon as our mains. Both of those were perfection. The cocktails were also delicious. Our server was Marina and she was a delight. All in all a perfect evening.

Darwin was very professional and timely. We appreciated his good service!

Walked in on early Sunday and was greeted by Lilly the host who sat me wherever I wanted. She did read my preference for a table by a fireplace but I was not sure if my business date would show up last minute (and he didn’t.) George was bartender & served me and offered me the Sunday Social Happy Hour which I was happy to order 2 items from the special menu and he made me a delicious hot Irish Coffee as well as the food was great. Being an owner of several hospitality restaurants in my life, I appreciated great service and food. From Bartender/Server, George to Hostess, Lilly you have an excellent team who truly cares about their customer. I gave you a lower score on sound ambiance because of a couple arguing loudly behind me that the few others around me couldn’t help notice that took away from the experience. It’s not your fault but they could have too many drinks by then and didn’t realize how long they were becoming which was a bit of annoyance that I didn’t want to listen to. That’s why I left right afterwards.

Great food and awesome drinks. Wait staff is attentive and very courteous. Shrimp tacos, lobster roll and fish fry dinner was excellent.
