The newest addition to the Restaurant Collection at SIMON Roosevelt Field mall, Nomiya — which translates to ‘saloon’ — stands as the area’s first izakaya. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and windowed dining room framed by black granite walls. Guests can pair their meal with one of the eleven premium bottles of sake listed on the menu, such as the unfiltered, cream-colored Yuki Tora Snow Tiger nigori or bright, effervescent Uka Junmai Daiginjo; or opt for a refreshing cocktail made with soju – the national drink of Korea which is commonly distilled from potato.     Our waitress was great. So was the food, and the atmosphere is always friendly and comfortable. We come here often, and we always enjoy it. We feel as though the staff really goes out of their way to make it a positive experience.

    Always the best. Took two of my great friends to AG Steakhouse and they truly enjoy the food and service! They were very impressed with the salad bar too. The drinks were on point as usual. And of course, Mr. Long was very attentive, kind and came over to say hi and chatted with us. He definitely made us feel special every single time. Thank you so much, Mr. Long. we also want to thank Gabriella for her amazing service as always. Always so kind, attentive, nice and friendly. We would also like to thank Jose, Thomas, Kenny, Danny, Kyle and Maria. They all came over to say hi and ask how we were doing. Amazing and outstanding staff. Keep up the excellent work. Thank you for making their birthday so much more special. We will definitely be back!
