Best Live Music Restaurants in Ossett

A relaxed Monday night in the The Ivy in Leeds for work with two colleagues one Italian who always has to have fish and chips when in UK - and having eaten in other Ivy restaurants knew it would be a decent shout, food excellent server was brilliant very welcoming and friendly my Italian colleague says best fish and chips so far when coming to our country, main meals reasonably priced and a special two or three course menu for weekdays was good value for money - most people will know it’s the drinks that bump up the cost but food was very good quality at reasonable cost.

All we can say is the Team of people that work at the Disley Sasso’s make the place what it is….. simply amazing!!! Great service, amazing food and always the best for a fantastic night out!!

There were a lot of changes to the dinner compared to our previous visit. I've always loved the Sunday roast. Unfortunately on this occasion it wasn't up to the usual standards. We didn't get everything we asked for i had to request for the carrots when the food was brought out. These were supposed to be on two dinners. Also we had to request more gravy as there wasn't enough of the plate for us. Im sorry to say this, the last thing that really disappointed me the most was the lack of crackling with the pork and when I asked for some it was dry and bland. Definitely not the amazing crackling I've had before from this place. It's made me sad, as the staff here are lovely and they did follow up on our requests and we get on well with the couple that run this place are wonderful. I just feel some changes have been made and it's not done the place justice. Also can you please bring back chicken to the menu for Sunday roast it's so much taster than turkey. Although we do enjoy the Beef and pork we didn't get as much for the price we paid. The portion sizes have reduced significantly yet the price remains the same. I hope it will be better for future visits.
