Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef David for a weekend breakfast, daily lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order.     Lovely restaurant! The staff are wonderful-so professional, pleasant and always happy to serve. The food is always delicious! Gave 4/5 for food only because I would like to see more fish on the menu other than sea bass and shell fish; ie halibut, cod, monkfish. It is also so nice to have dinner and then have live music while enjoying dessert. Great ambience! Thank you for a lovely night!

    We had a fantastic dinner at Efes last night, with another family, and the experience was well worth it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive—despite being busy, they made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, exceeding expectations in both taste and presentation. While the atmosphere was lively and at times a bit loud, it only added to the vibrant energy of the place. Prices lean toward the higher side, but the excellent service and overall experience more than make up for it. Efes delivered a great night of delicious food and top-notch hospitality

    Had an amazing evening at Serendipity. Food was delicious and a reasonable cost. Cocktails were fab. Staff really friendly. Evening entertainment was absolutely fantastic - Electric 80’s. Can’t wait to see them there again!
