- MMargaretOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFantastic experience. All the food was great with the exception of the vegan “pulled pork” which was way too sweet to eat. However, besides that we really had a great time and want to call out our host and server (Amini?). Just a wonderful host and ambassador for Joia. They deserve recognition!More infoJOIA Rooftop BarPrice: Expensive• Portuguese• Battersea•3.8

After the table was booked we went back and the staff were so friendly and helpful- will definitely go back. Nice peaceful vibes with good drinks in the riverMore infoThe Boathouse LondonPrice: Expensive• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Canary Wharf•4.7

- SShadeneLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 13, 2025Really nice new spot in Dagenham, such a great addition to the area! As someone who lives in Barking and Dagenham, it's refreshing to see more aesthetically pleasing venues popping up. The space is clean, intimate, and has a great vibe, which I really liked. The DJ was excellent and inclusive with the music selection, not just Afrobeats, but a good mix of other genres too, which is often missing in many African lounges and bars. As for the food, I only tried the suya. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. Service was generally fine, though I do feel that if the venue were busier, the team might struggle a bit. We ordered a few bottles of champagne, and unfortunately, each one was served warm. Just a note — champagne should always be served chilled. The ice bucket is meant to maintain the temperature. That said, I’d definitely go back! It’s a lovely spot with lots of potential!More infoThe CEO LoungePrice: Very Expensive• African• Dagenham•4.2
