We had the restaurant to ourselves and the ambiance was just what my wife wanted with an open fire waiting to greet us as all arrived. The staff were magnificent, helping us with the celebrations. The veges were soggy and overly sweet. The chips were a bit under cooked and just not amazing, the mushroom gravy wasn’t great. It spoilt the delicious fresh crispy schnitzel. We will go back for the mains though, they were excellent. Hopefully they can change some practices with the sides to make them 5/5 as well. Good pub meal.
