Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Portage Park

Waiter was phenomenal catered to my food allergy. Food was fantastic.

My favorite neighborhood casual, any night of the week spot. Outstanding service, excellent farm to table food and fairly priced.

Very nice place, good vibes, efficient and friendly service, diverse menu, seafood and meats, all excellent, family-style. My second time there while traveling for business, will definitely come back. I also used one of their private room for a working dinner with a group of 8, excellent too.

We made a reservation for the Bamboo Room, a smaller/quieter setting than the main area. There is a short wait to get in (we later decided it was to allow the one bartender time to mix drinks for the people who entered before us). I am NOT usually a cocktail person, but the Clairvoyant Missionary drink was GREAT! We were also happy to find that there is a decent food menu (bar snacks, but you could make a dinner out of it if so inclined). The vibe is festive but quieter than the main room, which we prefer. Excellent personal service from barman Matt as well.

The restaurant is gorgeous, and service was fantastic. The food was very tasty but, in my opinion, a bit overpriced for the portion size. The cocktails were spectacular, the speciality margarita is a must. I recommend Sunda for more of a happy hour than a dinner. We enjoyed our time! :-)
