Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Waxhaw

It was a nice brunch for Mother’s Day weekend. We went on Saturday because the menu was unavailable on Sunday. All of the servers were gracious and polite. They are very attentive too. Ian was our main server and he was amazing.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner tonight at Napa at Providence. We started with the Chargrilled Octopus, which was tender and perfectly cooked, with a smoky glaze and fava bean ragout that set the tone for an impressive meal. For entrées, I had the Braised Short Rib—rich, tender, and full of flavor, especially with the creamy cumin polenta and tamarind glaze. My wife had the Three Cheese Stuffed Chicken, which was juicy and comforting with wild rice pilaf, dried cherries, and almonds. We wrapped up the night with a slice of Key Lime Pie that hit all the right notes—tart, creamy, and refreshing. Service was friendly and professional, and the overall vibe was relaxed but polished. The porterhouse has been our favorite restaurant for the past five years. Every single time we go, we have had the pleasure of having Aza as our waiter. He treats us like family and is always willing to go above and beyond. Thank you for a wonderful memorable night.
