Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Distillery District

Went for my wife's birthday, and it was her first time at Canoe. The view from the 54th floor was the perfect start as we enjoyed some cocktails before dinner at the bar. I had a Blackcurrant Old Fashioned, which was perfect, and she had a glass of Rosé Cava that she loved. We were soon led to our table, which offered a view of the city and the CN Tower, and it immediately made us feel special. Service was excellent, our waiter provided the perfect amount of attention, and I'm sorry I don't remember his name to give him kudos here. Food was fantastic, we had a dozen oysters to start, and they were super fresh, my wife had the halibut, and I had the mushroom risotto style dish, both superb, and we are picky. This place is on the expensive side, which can make you be extra critical, but I really can't say it wasn't worth it, especially if it is a special occasion. Great job, Canoe!
