Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients. The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat’s home…just not exactly what you might think.

    Excellent food! Texas - Southwest accents and delicious. Steaks are outstanding. But also many other entrees. Our server Roberto was great. Attentive. Knew the food and the spirits. It’s nice to be in the presence of someone who seems to really enjoy what they do. Haywire is now my favorite restaurant in Dallas area.

    They have a large variety of meats. They bring out mostly rare, med rare so you have to ask for med well/well done. They also have an amazing salad bar with all types of veggies and cheeses including soup and my favorite scallop potatoes to choose from. We also ordered a pitcher of peach limeade which was made with fresh limes all the food and drinks are of a high quality. The restaurant is a little tight and dinner went up to $57.99 but I believe worth it for all you can eat amazing array of food and casual dining atmosphere. Our server Wendy gave great customer service!
