Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Newburyport

I had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was very tasty and a good sized portion. The available Pasta choices could use an upgrade as what seemed to be boxed Penne was one of the three options. Mrs. StoneOld had the Prime Rib. The meat itself was very good and a fairly priced. The Au Jus was cold and a replacement cup of it was also cold. Ambiance was just alright as we were seated in an empty back room despite having Reservations and the Restaurant being mostly empty. Mrs. StoneOLD noticed an odor similar to mothballs throughout the Dining Room. Service was excellent.

Wonderful View from the back Patio Sailboats floating by / great table! Always greeted warmly by hostess/staff who quickly accommodate best seating and making sure you are all set! Nice Wine List - Salads and Fish Dishes were delicious! Great, attentive service! Place is a Gem!

The food was outstanding and our waitress attentive. We ordered the Portuguese seafood stew and the seafood platter. The gluten free chocolate cake for dessert was delicious! Would definitely recommend and we’re definitely coming back!

Our table was ready right away. And although our server was very friendly, the service itself was quite slow. We did the buy one get one burger deal, which we didn’t know about until we got there, but was definitely worth the money! Overall, the food and drinks were very, very good, But luckily we weren’t in a rush because it wasn’t fast
