Went for breakfast with a friend. I had the Labneh with Pistachio Granola and he had the Jerusalem bagel. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The space is stunning! At 8 AM when we arrived it was so quiet and peaceful with natural light coming from the bright skylight overhead. The dining room for dinner is also gorgeous. We loved it! HIGHLY recommend.

Island is our go-to restaurant in Carnegie Hill! All you need to know is that whenever we go, there are numerous families that have been customers since the restaurant opened more than 40 years ago! The service is attentive, the food delicious, and the crowd includes customers from 8 to 80!
