The main restaurant was very noisy so we sat in the bar which was delightful. A wonderful place and a view of the river. The food was good - although the pasta needed more flavour. Great place to meet with friends and a lovely room to chat in.

If I want to celebrate a special day with a special meal, I'll make sure to come here. Never fails to delight.

Wonderful afternoon tea, the adjusted menu I had due to allergies was fabulous. Looking forward to the opening of the orangery.

I felt sorry for the lone waitress who was serving the entire pub, though it wasn't full. I think she may have been quite new as she wasn't completely sure of all ingredients. We selected a great Negromaro wine at a reasonable £34 a bottle. The fish daily special was seared Tuna but it lacked vegetables in quantity but it left room for a heavier desert. At nearly £50 per head it wasn't the cheapest in the area. My companions were not keen to return.
