Nice, calm atmosphere, situated on top of the Gantry. Customer service was great, so much so that you’ll easily leave a tip. Food was really nice; from the complimentary bread and starters to the mains, everything was delicious, well cooked, and presented well — 9/10 here. Only con is price is a bit steep for the location and decor was nice but standard compared to other STK locations: you’ll spend close to £200 for a starter, 2 mains, and 2-4 cocktails against somewhere more upmarket in central. Dress code is casual but most people come a little more dressed up. All in all, 7.5-8/10 overall, would definitely come back.

We were luckily to catch patois food’s residency at Loop and throughly enjoyed our meal! We can’t wait to try her food again and loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the Loop staff. We’ll definitely be going back soon.

We had a lovely family meal for Father’s Day. It was busy and there was a long wait for our food however when it came, it was absolutely delicious. The giant Yorkshire puddings were yummy but we couldn’t finish and the bread sauce and tender chicken was delicious.

The night started off a little odd, we arrived just after the restaurant opened and were the only people there at first. Decor inside was lovely, albeit the outside of of restaurant is undergoing refurbishment. The first thing I did was order one of their amazing looking cocktails, only to be informed that they did not yet have their drinks license, which was expected next week. It’s a very new restaurant, and they were very accommodating letting us purchase our own drink on the high street and bring it in, but it would have been nice to have known in advance. From that point onwards, we had a great night. The food was amazing, service was attentive without being overwhelming. The kids took advantage of the lack of alcohol to have a mocktail each, served in a glass dome full of smoke, very dramatic! We had 3 courses and everything we ate was brilliant. The bill was £140ish for 4 of us (kids were eating adult portions, not sure if there’s a kids menu). We added service to that and bought our own drinks, so would be more expensive once licensed. There’s a shisha lounge bit, which is completely separate to the main restaurant. Our table was a very comfortable booth, which could have easily sat 6 with plenty of room. A lovely night out.
