Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Cedarhurst

I celebrated my birthday as per a friend’s suggestion and this place did not disappoint. They have Happy Hour Wednesday and Thursday ALL DAY at the bar outside. I went on Thursday. Appetizers ordered: The mussels(at the bar), the Thai chili calamari, and charbroiled oysters. All were delicious. Dinner: Whole Fried Snapper, THE Parmesan lamb chops. Soooooo good. I devoured ev-ree-thang on that plate. Lol. Then we went to the Rooftop for some lemon drop shots and some music. This place was such a cool vibe. We all enjoyed ourselves. The food, drinks and music were on point. Looking forward to the next visit.

First time here. Nice options for lunch. Had a shrimp with beet salad and hubby 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich. Service was a little slow and part of my salad was missing. Seemed like just one server covering entire room with large party of 12 as well. Will try on a Friday night when it is cooler, we can sit outside and listen to music.

The service was superb and the food was very good especially the spare ribs, the short rib sandwich and of course the brussel sprouts.

I enjoyed every single bite I had during my dinner at The Guesthouse. I don’t drink alcohol and they had a whole section of mocktails on their drinks menu. We had the crab cakes- so tender and fresh. I had the beggar’s purse pasta and it was so incredible- comforting and flavorful. And the dessert: churro cake. 11 out of 10! Will absolutely be back!

Pleasant surprise. The food and cocktail were good. Perhaps a little understaffed, but they made it work with a smile - we were not in a rush. Will return for casual evening with friends.
