Great Sunday lunch, with the lamb special being a real treat. The veg to go with it was excellent. Venison starter, again was lovely. Make sure you go when hungry.

We were a group of 4 friends celebrating a birthday. We particularly enjoyed the friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the outset. Special mention to Alex and Charlotte who looked after us serving drinks and food. The food we felt was excellent especially taking into account the limited space in the kitchens on the boat. My chicken was so succulent and tasty. Would highly recommend the dining experience on The Countess

We were given a great welcome and shown to our table. Very professionally looked after throughout our Sunday lunch, which we felt was a good portion and value for money. very pleasant afternoon tea with assortment of finger sandwiches and cakes, and choice of coffee or tea. The Open Table booking, which had been confirmed by email, had not been recorded on the Hotel system, so initially nobody expected our party of 4. This was eventually sorted out, but was a little irritating, considering the price charged for the overall experience
