Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Deer Park

Went here for the wine tasting lunch series, food was great, as was the wine, great staff!!

The staff and service at Old Man Drew was top level. They were attentive without being over the top. The food was lovely (just wish the tea came earlier and there was more of a selection). The atmosphere is quirky and takes you down memory lane. And the shop is a lovely touch to pick up something unique.

A hidden gem in Ascot Vale 8km from Melbourne CBD. A self trained chef on his own serving the best food I’ve hade in quite a while especially in a busy restaurant, he was not phased. Very considered wine list but only had one rose.

Great place to go before a show at one of the Theatres in the precinct. Quieter than most other restaurants, and the food is relatively plain and simple for the 'older' people who don't like anything spicy (read: anything spicier than salt and pepper). Don't get me wrong the food is tasty, but there are a number of nice simple choices.

We had a truly lovely lunch at GK today. The food was all delicious and the service from Laura and her team was warm and friendly. My mother had the Barramundi, which was cooked to perfection, my nephew had the kids Chicken strips raved about his crispy potatoes and my niece enjoyed ordering off the Tapas menu, devouring Beef brisket tacos, Charred corn & mozzarella croquettes and some shared meatballs. Every dish was so tasty and fast to come out (which was great as the kids are always impatient for food!) This restaurant is definitely a new favourite!
