Wonderful experience for 16th birthday. We all had an excellent time. Staff were very efficient and very friendly. Atmosphere was marvellous. Food was brilliant. Have been before and will come again.

My wife and I enjoyed a standard afternoon tea which we though was very good at a reasonable price. The bar has been renovated recently and has a nice atmosphere with an area overlooking the harbour.

You must go to the Fancy Fox! Let’s start with decor- absolutely stunning! The most beautifully decorated cafe/restaurant I have ever attended. Food- outstanding! Fresh, home made and absolutely delicious! We had the Afternoon Tea and it was THE BEST I have ever tasted! And I didn’t feel full after- that is always a sign of good ingredients! Service! Exemplary! Kerry was our waitress and the loveliest waitress! So kind, friendly, attentive, polite, smiley! Utterly charming. My daughter has special dietary requirements and Kerry was extremely accommodating to her needs. I cannot recommend the Fancy Fox highly enough. We will be back! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

A very enjoyable afternoon tea experience in beautiful surroundings with excellent service. The sausage roll, scones and cakes were really delicious, however the sandwiches were only average in both quantity and quality, hence 4 stars not 5. Even so, we would love to come back!
