Another lovely meal at The Duke. Food was very enjoyable and the service, as before, was excellent. Our waiter was very engaged, knowledgeable and friendly, genuinely excellent service and all in all another thoroughly enjoyable visit. Thank you!

Me and my mum came for afternoon tea which was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the dairy free option which was so nice! The staff were very friendly and accommodating too. We enjoyed our experience so much that we visited the following day for a quick bite to eat and to take some cakes home with us. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Sandwiches and scones were a little dry but still tasty. The star of the show was our waitress Josie, a really lovely young lady, who couldn’t do enough for us, to make sure that we were happy. Thankyou Josie for making our afternoon extremely pleasurable, she is a credit to Ellenborough Park.

Fabulous experience, one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had for a long time. Attentive but not obtrusive. Delicious and gave takeaway box as we couldn’t eat all the cakes. Will definitely recommend and visit again! Staff a credit. Warm and friendly. Excellent presentation of delicious food.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in warmly. The table was dressed festively. Our waitress (sorry I cannot remember her name) was lovely and helpful and confirmed that our special requirements of no fish had been noted. The food was delicious and there was a good choice of cakes and mini desserts as well as the normal scones, clotted cream and jam. However, the homemade mince pie was simply superb. I am 57yrs old and eaten a lot of mince pies over the years, and I can say this was THE BEST MINCE PIE I have ever eaten!!
